'WWHL': Wendy wonders what NeNe would do for money if she quits show, fans call her 'jealous, classl

Wendy said she believes there's no truth in NeNe leaving the show and claimed that NeNe needs 'attention, dramatic attention', and that she'll be back

Talk show hosts Andy Cohen and Wendy Williams came together to sit and chat, virtually, about all things happening in the 'Real Housewife' universe on the former's late-night show 'Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen'. After discussing the explosivity that transpired on the 'Real Housewives of Potomac' episode on Sunday, September 27, night, the conversation shifted to another edition from the 'RH' franchise.

Recently, NeNe Leakes of 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' announced on her that she would not be returning for Season 13 of the extremely popular show. She admitted it was a "hard and difficult decision" and hinted that the exit had to do with "an extremely long, exhausting, tiring, emotional negotiation" behind the scenes. NeNe is the only castmate who's been on 'RHOA' since Season 1 and her exit definitely is a big deal for people associated with the franchise and fans who have been speaking about it since the time NeNe made the revelation. Wendy has been a fan of 'RH' and is friends with NeNe, so it was natural for Andy to ask her about her thoughts regarding the exit. However, the response that he received from her in return seemed like something he wasn't expecting.

Wendy said she believes there's no truth in NeNe leaving the show. She later pointed out that NeNe needs "attention, dramatic attention", and that she'll be back. Wendy further wondered out aloud as to what NeNe would be doing for money if she decides to quit the show. She said that all housewives use their 'RH' status to promote their other businesses. Wendy later brought in Bethenny Frankel (former 'RHONY' castmate who quit the show) saying that NeNe might be as popular as her but Frankel has built a "multi-million dollar situation". It was clear that this was an attempt at undermining NeNe's abilities to form something out of 'RHOA'. Later on, she told Andy that if they plan to give her a standalone show which showcases her family life, it would be "boring" by all means. Andy looked shocked with what he'd just heard and quickly wrapped it up saying he knows NeNe has multiple other options as she's done millions of things outside 'RHOA'.

Fans have not taken kindly to Wendy's opinions about NeNe and they took to Twitter to drag her for the same. "@NeNeLeakes YOU ARE & ALWAYS will be a QUEEN! You don’t need #RHOA or anyone! @Andy & @WendyWilliams On #WWHL just now is DISGUSTING & CLASSLESS with their sad exchange! If Wendy Is Nene’s friend, I can’t Imagine Nene’s enemies! The thirst is real !!!!" wrote a NeNe fan. "@WendyWilliams actually @NeNeLeakes in Hollywood is actually a great idea and doesn’t sound boring. Wendy, you are “secretly” jealous of Nene. #WWHL," wrote another fan. "Wendy Williams is a terrible “friend” to Nene. #WWHL," quipped another. "ATTN Nene Leakes- Wendy Williams IS NOT Your Friend! If she is, that’s one friendship you could stand to be without #WWHL #BRAVO #andycohen," said one. Another tweet read, "With friends like Wendy, who needs enemies. @NeNeLeakes you deserve better. Do yourself a favor & drop this dead weight."
