The Rose Family is back with their shenanigans and boy does it make us really happy to see them return to our screens.

With the sixth and the final season of the series, 'Schitt's Creek' is back with the idiosyncrasies of the Rose family — Moira (Catherine O'Hara), Johnny (Eugene Levy), David (Dan Levy) and Alexis (Annie Murphy).

It is such a classic return to television for 'Schitt's Creek'. The sitcom is more than a mere comedy and the first episode only proves that — the series is an amalgamation of some of the most myriad personalities.

As David and his fiance Patrick (Noah Reid) are scouting a wedding venue, they are joined by Alexis and David's best friend Stevie.

It is a classic 'Schitt's Creek' episode — true to the show's nature, the comedy is taken forward with the characters and their personalities rather than external factors determining the movement of the episode.

Annie Murphy is simply the best when it comes to her portrayal of Alexis and that combined with Dan Levy's David is just a treat on the screen!

We missed seeing Moira and Johnny in this episode.

We love Alexis and David on the screen together for they portray the sibling rapport with such brilliant ease. At the same time, what we do love more is when the entire Rose family is on the screen together — that is something we are never disappointed with and were actually looking forward to.

Nonetheless, Season 6 Episode 1 of 'Schitt's Creek' sets the pace for the rest of the final season. And while that is information worth lamenting, we are thinking that the 14 episodes are going to be just worth it.
