Did Donald Trump call Ted Cruz's wife ugly? Seth Rogen fuels Twitter war with Melania Trump and Heid

Rogen was referring to the time Trump had tweeted a photo of his wife  Melania and Cruz’s wife, Heidi, implying that she was ugly – before threatening to 'spill the beans' on her

It's war...on Twitter! On Thursday, Senator Ted Cruz, who encouraged the Capitol riots in the beginning of January, got into a battle of heated words with comedy actor and filmmaker Seth Rogen. After Rogen had tweeted "F**ck off you fascist", Cruz shared a screenshot of it with a rather perplexing caption, "“Charming, civil, educated response. @Sethrogen. If you’re a rich, angry Hollywood celebrity, today’s Dems are the party for you. If you’re blue-collar, if you’re a union member, if you work in energy or manufacturing… not so much. #JobsMatter.”

Rogen didn't hold back and lashed out, "If you’re a white supremacist fascist who doesn’t find it offensive when someone calls your wife ugly, Ted Cruz is the exact motherf*cker for you,” wrote Rogen, adding, “Also I’m in four unions.” (Cruz has supported anti-labor laws in the past.)"

If you’re a white supremacist fascist who doesn’t find it offensive when someone calls your wife ugly, Ted Cruz is the exact motherfucker for you.

Rogen was referring to the time when Ex-president Donald Trump had tweeted a photo of his wife Melania and Cruz’s wife, Heidi, implying that she was ugly—before threatening to “spill the beans" on her. Just before that, Cruz had shared images of Melania Trump, in her modeling days. Trump's Twitter account has been permanently suspended, so we can't see the tweet anymore. “Donald, you’re a snivelling coward and leave Heidi the hell alone,” Cruz had replied. Trump had also accused Cruz’s father, Rafael, of participating in the JFK assassination, and branded the senator “Lyin’ Ted” in the 2016 GOP presidential primaries. Well, things clearly changed over the past few years, between the two of them.

The Capitol insurrection took place on January 6, where hundreds of Trump supporters stormed the Capitol, threatening the very fabric of American democracy. The Congress went into lockdown for a while after. Yesterday (January 20) was Joe Biden's inaugration, believers in the QAnon conspiracy theory were convinced that they were about to see something magnificent: the long-awaited mass arrests of Biden and a host of other “deep-state” Democrats, followed by the restoration of Trump to power. However that did not happen, and it seems as if Trump really has left office for good. The Democrats have won this round.
